Bradley (Brad) William Hanover, of Memphis, Tennessee, died by tragic accident at his home at the age of 70 on January 11, 2023. Brad was the beloved oldest child of J. Alan Hanover, Esq., and Helen Hanover (both deceased), the endlessly proud and loving father of Brett Hanover and Brendan Hanover and her husband Stefan Pienkowski, the cherished brother of Barry Hanover and his wife Allison Richards, Jody Becker and her husband Daniel Becker, M.D,, and John Hanover, Esq. and his wife Mary Wells, and the adored uncle of Michael Hanover, Keith and David Becker, and Jacob and Sydney Hanover and Cassidy Wells. He is also survived by his children’s mother, Gayle Woloshin, and his many lifelong friends. Brad will forever be remembered for his love for his children, his unbreakable bond with his family, and his endearing charm, wit, and joy for life, which he generously shared with everyone he met. He brought laughter and lightness to the lives of his family and friends, a gift that could not be repaid or replaced. He was also immensely proud of his family’s 120-year legacy in Memphis, particularly in politics and law. Brad attended both White Station High School and the University of Oklahoma, earning a degree in Business Administration in 1974. He worked in the liquor business, and then for many years owned and operated, alongside his mother, Hanover Travel located in Midtown Memphis, the neighborhood where he happily lived for most of his life.
