Read Morton, 68, of Holly Springs, passed away on May 2, 2021, at Baptist Hospital in Southaven. He was born on August 31, 1952, in Cherry Point, North Carolina, to Fred and Anne Newbil Morton. Read was a farmer, and a member of Wyatt Baptist Church.
Read is survived by his wife, Teresa Salmon Morton of Holly Springs, and a son, Read Morton Jr (Creedon) of Memphis, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by a son, Aaron German, a sister, Evieanne Fogle, and his parents.
