Hugh C. Hollowell Jr., 66, of Cordova, TN, passed away on December 7, 2018 in Cordova.Hugh was born in Memphis, TN to Charlese Hollowell Tolar and Hugh Hollowell Sr. on September 1, 1952. He graduated from White Station High School in 1970 and attended the University of Tennessee at Martin. He worked in the Logistics industry for over 30 years for local companies including Empire Express and Blue Streak Logistics. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant and served honorably until 1979. He was an accomplished sailor and member of the Delta Sailing Association at Arkabutla Lake for several years where his love of sailing was passed along to his parents and children.
